When you sign up for “Keep me updated” we list your name and e-mail in MailChimp and from there we send you news and other relevant updates about the BioMedical Design Fellowship Programme.

Log Data

Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”).

This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyse this.

When data is sent to this statistical service no personal information is being shared except general information about work title.

A number of cookies are being inserted on your computer when you login to the Site. Login cookies stay for 14 days and cookies which show your screen choices stays for 1 year. If you click ‘Remember me’ your login will stay for 2 weeks. If you log out of your account, your login-cookies disappear. If you edit or publish an article, another cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie do not contain any personal data. It simply register the post-ID from the article you have edited, and it expires after 1 day.

How we Protect your Data

The uploaded data from your application form will be saved at our server and only there. They will not be shared or transferred to a third party commercial entity.

Security

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
